have do to the same to use any items in a fight as well. want to jump in the middle of a fight? have to switch to "detective mode" to jump, and then back to "combat mode" to punch. you have to use the shoulder buttons to switch between "detective mode" and "combat mode", which remaps the controller for the various actions. when you're out of ammo, you can't do anything and just have to take the shots from enemies until you die. you legit will have 3-5 enemy vehicles chasing you when you're in the Batmobile at any given time, and you have like 10 bullets to defend yourself with. you're stupid weak, you're constantly getting hunted down by multiple enemies anytime you travel anywhere and have very limited resources. Voice acting from the cast (just taken from clips tho, but still cool to hear Arnold actually say those cheesy one-liners in game) Wide variety of locations, from the Gothic architecture we're all familiar with to super industrial areas and nature-filled areas on the outskirts of the city Batman, Robin, and Batgirl are all playable with different abilities, vehicles, and fighting styles (tho you could easily just play as Batman the whole time) A story/progression system that emphasizes actual detective work requiring you to search for clues and and put the pieces together to try to stop the villains' next move

Freely being able to get in and out of the Batmobile to explore the city on foot, Driver 2 style An open world Gotham City with numerous buildings you can go inside of, even if they're not part of the main mission (on PS1!)

I gotta give some love to the Batman & Robin PS1 game, which I don't think I've ever met anyone else in my life who's played it before.
